What is this tool?
Bill Splitter divides a bill among any number of people. Enter the total and headcount for an instant per-person amount; when it doesn't divide evenly it rounds to the currency and shows exactly who covers the few cents or won left over. Open the advanced options to add a tip (15/18/20% or your own), include or add tax, or split by unequal shares so people who ate more pay more. Pick ₩, $ or ¥ and copy the result — everything runs in your browser.
What happens when the bill doesn't divide evenly?
It rounds each share to the smallest unit of your currency and assigns the leftover to as few people as possible, so the per-person amounts add up exactly to the bill.
How is the tip calculated?
The tip is a percentage of the subtotal (15/18/20% or your own value), added to the total before splitting, so everyone shares it.
Can people pay different amounts?
Yes — turn on 'By share' in Advanced and give each person a weight; the bill is split in proportion to those shares.
