FAQ
Is this tool free?
Yes — no sign-up, no installation, completely free to use right away.
What is this tool?
Free HEIC viewer — open and view iPhone HEIC/HEIF photos right in your PC browser (Windows can’t by default). Flip through multiple, zoom, rotate, read EXIF. No upload, all in-browser. You can use it for free with no sign-up or installation — just open the page and start right away.
Are my uploaded files sent to a server?
No. Everything runs only on your own computer, inside your browser, and your files are never sent to a server or anywhere else. So you can use it with complete peace of mind, without worrying about your file contents leaking.
What is HEIC?
HEIC (HEIF) is Apple’s high-efficiency image format, the default for iPhone photos since iOS 11. It stores the same quality in a smaller file than JPG.
Why won’t it open on Windows?
Windows, Chrome and most PC setups don’t support HEIC out of the box and need an extra codec. This viewer decodes HEIC inside your browser, so it just opens — no install.
Can I save as JPG?
Yes. Save the current photo as JPG or PNG while viewing, or download all loaded photos at once as JPG (zip).
Are my photos uploaded?
No. All decoding and conversion happen entirely in your browser; your photos are never sent to a server.
