Profile

Cao Cao’s cousin and Wei’s greatest siege-defender. He held Jiangling against Zhou Yu’s onslaught for over a year after Red Cliffs, and a daring cavalry rescue of surrounded men earned him the cry "a man from Heaven!" Isolated at Fancheng by Guan Yu’s flood, he held the walls and saved the front. His glory was the defense that never broke.
