FAQ

Is this tool free?

Yes — no sign-up, no installation, completely free to use right away.

What is this tool?

Free in-browser video player that captures any moment as an image (PNG/JPG) and loops an A–B section on repeat. No upload, all local — perfect for language and instrument practice. You can use it for free with no sign-up or installation — just open the page and start right away.

Are my uploaded files sent to a server?

No. Everything runs only on your own computer, inside your browser, and your files are never sent to a server or anywhere else. So you can use it with complete peace of mind, without worrying about your file contents leaking.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The file is opened only in your browser; playback, frame capture and A–B looping all run locally and are never sent to a server.

What image format are frames saved in?

The full-resolution frame at the current position is saved as PNG or JPG. It extracts the actual video frame (not a screenshot), so there is no quality loss.

How does A–B repeat work?

Press A at the start and B at the end of the section, then enable Repeat. Whenever playback reaches B it jumps back to A and loops — great for dictation or practicing a passage.

Can I change the playback speed?

Yes, from 0.25× to 2×, so you can slow down fast sections or speed through others.

Which video formats are supported?

Any format your browser can play (MP4/H.264, WebM, etc.). Some codecs may not play depending on the browser.
