孤豈欲卿治經爲博士邪

ko내가 어찌 그대에게 경전을 파고들어 박사가 되라 하는 것이겠는가. 다만 지난 일들을 두루 훑어보라는 것뿐이다. 바쁘다 하지만, 그대가 나보다 바쁘겠는가.
ja私がどうして君に経書を極めて博士になれと言うだろうか。ただ過去の出来事にざっと目を通せというだけだ。多忙と言うが、君が私より忙しいはずがあるまい。
The scene behind the words
Sun Quan’s reply to Lü Meng’s excuse that army life left no time for books. Not "become a perfect scholar" — just read as much as you need: study advice that still holds. Thus spurred, Lü Meng became the hero of the "rub your eyes" story.
