With Cao Cao’s camp daunted by Yuan Shao’s superior numbers, Guo Jia delivered a ten-axis comparative analysis — ethics, law, personnel, decisiveness and more. The insight that organization and leadership, not headcount, decide wars was vindicated exactly at Guandu. Quoted today as a prototype of strategic analysis.
